Hello, my lovely book lovers. Today I come to you with a request, one which if you fulfill it, will result in my eternal gratitude.

One thing most of you probably don’t know about me, is I am a geek. Not just a book geek. Oh no, my dear readers, I am a full out geek. I mean, comic books, video games, movies, the whole shebang. In fact, you want to know my new favorite form of entertainment? This Dalek Ipsumgenerator. But the fun doesn’t end there, I also found an incredibly cool Back to the Future one AND this one that has some classic sci-fi television. Oh yes, I’m cool like that. But back to the point.

My one, true geeky love is, Doctor Who. I mean, who doesn’t like it? I used to watch the classic series online when I was younger, and I fell in love with the new series when I discovered it early last year. When I discovered the wonderful Figment.Com was hosting a Doctor Who fanfic contest in honor of the new season starting, I jumped on the opportunity. And I wrote my FIRST EVER FAN FICTION. And it turned out surprisingly well. And people really seem to like it. But, I still need your help.

This contest I entered is a heart based contest, meaning, only the top ten hearted (which is kind of the equivalent of liking a story) will actually be judged, and are eligible to win. Right now I am in 9th place, which is so incredibly amazing. I seriously cannot express to you how much this means to me! But, the voting goes on until April 10th, I could be pushed out of the top ten at any time.
